Gimme some of that

Griffin's new favorite thing is when Ian goes to bed he gets to spend "special time" with mom and dad watching a movie and having popcorn. Well here he just couldn't wait til Ian's bedtime. He was trying to tell Ian many reasons why he can't have popcorn such as: "you will choke because you can't chew because you don't have teeth and then you could die" and "this is for my special time." The fun begins as Ian is getting into EVERYTHING of Griffin's!
Haircut already?
Lots of new pics
Just put lots of new pics from Griffin's 4th b-day and other fun pics from around the Staahl house so check them out! http://picasaweb.google.com/staahlfamily

Wii got our Wii
So we FINALLY got our Wii. Only took about 100 phone calls and constant trips to multiple stores for the past 3 months. Can't wait for mom and Don to try it this weekend. We also bought new bedroom furniture and a dining room set. Pretty expensive few days but we are done, done and done for a long time now. The house really keeps coming together. Looks like the newlyweds may be getting some hand-me-downs soon. Courtney or Kayla, who will be the lucky recipient?

OK, this isn't good
So apparently Griffin has the wrong idea about what the newspaper has in it. Being in the line of work that I am, I check the orbituaries daily. Now everytime he sees me reading the paper or reacting to anything in it, he points at every picture of a person and says "did they die" or "are you sad they are dead?" Guess we need to show him what the newspaper is really about. I know people think it is morbid but I like to see who I will and won't be doing therapy on that day.
Baby-proofing begins
For some reason I can't get the video of Ian crawling on here so you have to go to our picasa website for it. He is officially on the go! http://picasaweb.google.com/staahlfamily

Birthday party

Today Griffin went to Raoul's 3rd birthday party. I must say it was interesting as Raoul and his family are from Russia. They are our next door neighbors and are just so nice. Anyway, I found it hard to explain to Griffin why Raoul's mom "doesn't talk too good." They speak both English and Russian and sometimes a combo of both and Griffin was quite perplexed, especially when Raoul's dad started playing guitar and singing in russian while the kids danced around. The food was pretty ethnic and I must say her cake was the best cake we have ever had. Should I be offended that Griffin asked me tonight if she could make his birthday cake for him but if we could put pirate frosting on it? Also, my friend borrowed her Wii to us for the weekend because we are destined to not have one yet. So much fun! Check out those teeth of Ian's. Yeah how about those big beautful eyes too!
