Baby Joe
Well my stepsister is in Guatemala right now with her family picking up baby Joe. They officially got him in their arms at noon today and we are dying to meet him. Guess they have to stay for a few more days getting the final paperwork in order but sounds like everyone is adjusting well so far. Will get pics posted as I get them. Welcome to this crazy family Joseph Enrique! (If only he knew what he was getting himself into).

Thanks grandpa and Courtney!

Thanks to Grandpa Ed and cousin Courtney for helping with the boys this weekend at the country club pool. I could not have done it without you. While Gus and Travis golfed, the 3 of us played with the boys at the pool. They had a blast and wore us out. Amazing how much work it is even when you have 2 kids to 3 adults! Anyway, cherishing every moment this summer as the time is passing way too quickly.
Fun at the park
Ian's first bike ride
Ian LOVES the slide!
Our little monkey who is always climbing and jumping.
Like father like son
The boys skipping rocksWe spend lots of time at the little neighborhood park near our house. Griffin loves spending time by the lake but Ian is sure hard to keep out of the water. Lots of family fun!

On my political high horse
Check this out. Made the headline opinion story this morning in the forum.
http://www.in-forum.com/articles/index.cfm?id=207648§ion=Opinion&freebie_check&CFID=52718160&CFTOKEN=29476364&jsessionid=8830d7d7abd83a875551 (PS if this link doesn't work, go to www.in-forum.com and click on opinion in the far left colum for today).
The reason I am so passionate about this topic is it affects me personally and professionally and could really change my career as a physical therapist. I am sure you are all dying to know more so let me know as I have all the answers. I will have you know that this morning the house and senate voted to get rid of this cap however Lil' Georie plans to veto it. Luckily we are banking on the senate overriding his veto so life can be good for us therapists again!

4th of July Parade

Gramma Kathy, Griffin, Ian and I went to the huge 4th parade in Mandan. I can honestly say I don't think I have ever been to a 3 hour parade before! Griffin loved it and was debating which guy he would be in the parade when he gets big---an army guy, a firefighter, or the motorcross guy who does stunts. Not going to say which I'd prefer.
