Last night of track

Tonight was Griffin's last track night. He was pretty sad at the end when he knew that it was done and said "well you will just have to sign me up again." He took 1st place in all 3 events so he was pretty pleased with himself. (HOPING VIDEO WILL FOLLOW TOMORROW SO CHECK BACK).

Stress!

So lately Griffin has been talking a lot about being a police officer when he grows up. Our friend Jason is a police with the West Fargo PD and this just gives more flame to Griffin's dream I guess. Well it seems this career decision is giving Griffin some added stress. He has been pretty worried that by the time he gets big, all the bad guys will be gone. He says "but when I get 19 and I am a police all the bad guys will be gone because Jason already shot them and there will be no bad guys for me to catch and put in jail and shoot." Should I be worried?

I LOVE JON!

We had a blast this past weekend at the Bon Jovi concert. We went with Courtney and Travis and boy was it fun. The concert was amazing and we all absolutely loved it. We didn't sit together so we sure had stories to tell afterwards about the people we either met or encountered during this wild concert! You will have to ask us about our adventures later! All I can say is the boys needed a little recovery time the next day. Daughtry was pretty good and of course Bon Jovi was great! Sorry for the crummy pics but these are as good as I could get while dancing and drooling over Jon!

OK, so it is a little late

Griffin and I went to the circus 2 weekends ago and boy was it a joy, ok so it was more on the painful side! We were pretty disappointed because Griffin wanted to see clowns and tigers and there were neither. I must say after just reading the book Water For Elephants I found the elephant act to be much more entertaining than it would have been prior to reading the book. Oh well, it was a day out just Griff and I and we had fun. Of course his favorite thing about the circus was the light up gun and sword but are you surprised?

Thanks Erin

As many of you know I was THE biggest new kids on the block fan in the world. Well, 2 of my close friends were at the Today show in New York last friday when they announced the big NKOTB reunion. They got to smell, touch and grope them they were so close. Since my true love was always Jordan Knight, this picture still melts my heart...yeah, I know over 15 yrs later and I am still dreaming of Jordan. Here he is looking for me in the crowd.

I am a winner!

Tonight Griffin was in a little track meet and took 2nd place for his group. He was so proud of his red ribbon and can't wait to go again. West Fargo Parks and Rec has this track event every tuesday night and each time they do different races and relays and such. Guess he had a blast there then off with dad for haircuts and then out to eat. Was the first time Ian and I were home alone since maturnity leave so it was quite nice I must say. Ian's teachers are teasing him about his "hockey hair" but I am resisting cutting it after our last attempt was not so pretty. Griffin's is now super buzzed so no more hockey hair for him. Boo hoo! Just got some pics back of Ian so will try scanning them and posting them if I can figure it out.

Baby Luis Enrique

Looks like my step sister Suzi will be bringing the new baby home within the next 1-2 months. How about those beautiful eyes? We can't wait to meet him.

Snowed in

Yeah, um, I thought it was April 6th but I must be mistaken. We got dumped with snow today! Griffin has been asking almost everyday "when will it be summer so we can play baseball ad golf and soccer and football" and I say "it is getting closer." Well he saw the snow and said "you telled a lie; now we have to start all over again because we just got it good outside." Of course yesterday we officially got rid of the last trace of snow in our yard and then today was what looks like 5-6 inches! He was outside playing 4 different times anyway (going thru every pair of snowpants and gloves and hats we had) so he still had fun. Gymnastics is going amazing I would like you all to know. He now does it all on his own without having to have me near or watching which is a big accomplishment for this boy. Way to go Griffin! Can't find out camera today so no new pics, sorry. Maybe Gus will have to use his tax refund to buy me a new camera. Bummer for him!
